A local middle school made the unique choice to engage with a creative agency to overhaul its branding.
Timberview Middle School is an innovative school in an innovative district. In line with that culture, when it came time to update the portrayal of their mascot, they turned to Evangalist instead of utilizing more traditional education-specific vendors.
Timberview’s goal in updating their hawk logo was looking more like a high school than a middle school. They wanted the hawk to come across as more interesting and intimidating, and they sought typeface customization that was more fine-tuned. The result is a brand that is head & shoulders above what most have come to expect from a middle school.
After completing the branding project, Timberview challenged Evangalist to design a mural for a large vacant wall near their cafeteria. The mural was meant to expand on the new branding and be creatively aligned with the school year’s campaign: One School. One Family. One Timberview.
