Victory Over Violence Walk/Run Case Study

A Fort Worth non-profit was ready to reapproach the creative direction of its signature fundraising event.

The Women’s Center’s most well-known event, the Victory Over Violence walk/run, had passed through many different creative hands throughout its history. To set a new paradigm, they turned to Evanaglist for both a new illustrated mascot and website that would attract runners, sponsors, and volunteers.

Branding

In designing the new duck mascot for Victory Over Violence, we first reviewed its history. Choosing the best elements from year’s past, we developed a new duck that was friendly, approachable, and appealing to all. We focused on minor details to ensure our duck wasn’t gendered, wasn’t too old or too young, wasn’t too similar to existing properties, and was true to VOV’s style.

Web Design

Victory Over Violence had found success despite a dated digital experience. To build on their stature, we create an engaging, photo-driven website that informs, creates excitement, and shows off the fun the previous year’s event.

Our experience working with Evangalist has been incredibly rewarding! They are creative, professional, responsive and timely. The staff listened to our specific needs and developed artwork that helped us update the brand of our Victory Over Violence Walk/Run and a website that is beautiful, functional and will serve us well for many years.
